Purposefully Playing Toward Kindergarten

We are proud to partner with Grand Rapids Children's Museum so that each child has the opportunity to learn in a play-based environment. Play-based learning is child-directed and teacher-guided. It includes literacy, language and communication, mathematics, physical development, social-emotional development, and outdoor exploration. 

This Early Childhood summer program supports Kindergarten readiness for scholars who will be attending Kindergarten in a Grand Rapids Public School in the fall of 2024. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Each scholar currently attending a GSRP or 4-year-old Children's House program in Grand Rapids Public Schools will receive a postcard with a unique QR code to enroll.
