Transportation Update: ZPass and Here Comes the Bus

Dear Parent/Guardian(s),

This is a quick follow up to the recent transportation letters that were sent last week with information about the new technology we will be administering for parents to track when their students get on and off the bus (ZPass) and where the bus is on the route (Here Comes the Bus).

Due to some technical issues with the new “Here Comes the Bus” system, implementation will be delayed a few weeks.

In the meantime, we are excited to report that students in Cohorts A and B will receive their “ZPass” at school next week. Once a student has their pass, parents and guardians will need to go to the ZPass+ website at www.ZPassPlus.com. Click “Sign Up” and enter your student’s name and the RFID number located on the ZPass. From there you can follow the instructions to complete the sign up.

If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to call the Transportation Hotline at 616-819-6100. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Leadriane Roby, Ph.D.
Superintendent of Schools
