The Superintendent will encourage the use of professional consultants and other resource persons when such consultative services will be helpful in the improvement of the educational program in the District. All consultant services will be based on a written contract. The Superintendent will engage in a rigorous process for selecting consultants that prioritizes District outcomes.
Consultants will exercise no administrative authority over the work of employees, but will act only as advisors in those fields in which they are qualified to offer assistance and for which they are contracted.
