Teachers and other District employees are not permitted to receive pay for: (1) tutoring students currently assigned to them; or (2) services the employee provides or anticipates providing to the student as part of a student’s IEP, 504 plan, or for any other reason. 

Employees may tutor or provide services to other students of the District with the prior permission of the teacher’s building principal. No private tutoring/other services may be provided during the regular school day, on District property at any time, or using District equipment or supplies. Under no circumstances shall the use of private tutoring/services be used in lieu of services that should be provided to students by the District during the school day. 

This policy applies both during the school year and summer break.
