GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – Meet Katty Pablo-Vargas, a senior at Innovation Central High School.
She is in the EMT program at the Academy of Health Sciences & Technology. Her career path has been influenced by her own health experience.
“I'm hoping to be a travel ultrasound technician,” she explained. “It's always been kind of my passion to do it because I've been sick since the fourth grade. I was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. I notice how compassionate they are toward their patients.”
