GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – Two GRPS scholars have been named finalists in a statewide contest to create “I Voted” stickers for the November 2026 general election.

Clara G. and Lucinda S., both seniors at City High Middle School, were named among the 30 finalists in the statewide high school division. You can vote for their entries online here. Voting is open until 11:59 p.m. on June 30.

According to the Secretary of State’s Office, more than 2,000 submissions were received this year, four times the number of entries from the first contest in 2024. The Michigan Collegiate Student Advisory Task Force members selected 30 semifinalists from each entry category.

Three winning designs will be selected from each separate category: elementary/middle school, high school, and general entry (open to Michigan residents of all ages). The stickers will be provided to local election clerks for the November election to give out to voters.
