The New Teacher Academy (NTA) provides professional learning opportunities designed to support new teachers throughout their first years of teaching. GRPS offers a variety of courses focused on building foundational knowledge, strengthening instructional practices, and supporting continuous professional growth.
NTA courses are aligned to the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching, providing new teachers with a common language for reflection, goal setting, and developing effective teaching practices across the four domains: Planning and Preparation, The Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities.
Course offerings include a combination of online modules, in-person sessions, and virtual learning experiences to provide flexible opportunities for new teachers to engage in meaningful professional learning. New teachers are encouraged to participate in courses that support their individual areas of growth and align with their professional learning goals.
