GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) — All classes and activities have been canceled for Grand Rapids Public Schools for Wednesday, January 22, 2025. District offices will also be closed.
Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby called the snow day as wind chills are forecasted to be around -20 degrees Wednesday morning. The frigid weather can be dangerous for scholars walking to school or waiting for the bus.
Wind chills are forecasted to rise back above zero by Thursday morning.
