GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – Marissa Stoutjesdyk plays a critical role in ensuring that Grand Rapids Public Schools is able to access federal funding to support scholars across the district. As a Title I Financial Accountant in Community & Student Services, she knows her work is making an impact every day.
“The vision of GRPS inspired me to be a part of the movement towards helping scholars achieve their lifelong goals through high-quality education,” she said.
Helping those in our community brings her the most joy.
“I enjoy working together as a team to support our educators, scholars, and caregivers and seeing the difference we can make when we all truly care for the well-being of our community and families,” she explained. “It has shown me time and again that the work we do here is so appreciated and so needed.”
Her role behind the scenes ensures that educators have the tools and resources needed to create meaningful learning environments.
