GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- The Grand Rapids Board of Education elected new officers for 2026 during the Annual Organization Meeting held on Monday, January 12.
During the organizational meeting, José Rodriguez was elected President and Aarie Wade was elected Vice President. The Board of Education also voted to elect Eleanor Moreno as Treasurer and Amber Kilpatrick as Secretary.
The Board of Education also approved a schedule for 2026 Regular Board Meetings:

- Monday, April 13, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, May 11, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, June 8, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, July 13, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, August 10, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, September 14, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, October 12, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, November 9, 2026, 6:30 p.m.
