GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) - The Dunneback Memorial Wrestling Tournament, held earlier this month, showcased strong performances from both Union and Ottawa Hills. The two GRPS high school wrestling programs stood out in a competitive 16-team field from around the region, demonstrating impressive depth and skill across multiple weight classes.

Overall, the Redhawks and the Bengals turned in strong performances in a highly competitive tournament. Union demonstrated consistent results across the girls’ and boys’ divisions, with multiple wrestlers earning podium finishes and contributing to the team’s success. Ottawa Hills also showcased a balanced roster, earning top-four placements in both the girls’ and boys’ brackets. Each team also saw one of its wrestlers stand atop the podium.
