GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) — City High Middle School scholars and staff stepped outside Friday morning to reflect and honor those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
The Honor Cruise, a West Michigan community event honoring the victims of 9/11, fallen service members and their families, passed through the City High Middle School parking lot. Scholars and staff lined the sidewalk to watch the procession and pay their respects.
The Honor Cruise is organized by the American Legion. It began and ended at the American Legion Boat and Canoe Club, honoring lives lost on 9/11, as well as fallen service members and their families in West Michigan.
