GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – The Class of 2025 continued the historic rise of graduation rates at Grand Rapids Public Schools.
According to newly released data from the Michigan Department of Education, the GRPS Class of 2025 achieved a four-year graduation rate of 83.22%, the highest level in recent history. The rate increased from 82.53% in 2024 and is nearly 18 percentage points higher than it was a decade ago.
“The continued increase in our graduation rate shows what is possible when an entire district rallies around scholar success,” said Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby. “Our educators are focused on ensuring every scholar has the support they need to graduate and prepare for what’s next. The Class of 2025 is proof that our collective efforts are making a real difference.”
