GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- Grand Rapids Public Schools is proud to support democracy by serving as a polling location partner for voters across the city. Several GRPS schools open their doors on Election Day, providing convenient and accessible places for residents to cast their ballots.
Public schools are cornerstones of their neighborhoods, and Election Day is another opportunity to serve the community. By hosting polling locations, GRPS helps strengthen civic engagement and supports every resident's right to participate in the democratic process.
As has long been tradition at GRPS, scholars did not attend school on Election Day.
