Ottawa Hills High School is now accepting nominations for the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame.
The OHHS Athletics Hall of Fame seeks to honor those who have made outstanding athletic achievements during and/or after their career at Ottawa Hills.
Former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and contributors are qualified to be nominated.
Those wishing to make a nomination can do so by completing the Athletic Hall of Fame Application Packet. The nomination should include a letter of recommendation from the person submitting the application, letters of support for the nominee, and other supporting materials such as newspaper clippings or magazine articles.
This is an opportunity for our community to lift up those connected to our program who have gone on to do great things,” OHHS Athletics Director Marcus Harris said. We know our scholars are inspired by the stories of those who walked our hallways before them. When our scholars see what others have done, it helps them realize that they can do it too. Ottawa Hills has a rich tradition in athletics and we have had some great scholars and athletes that have come out of Ottawa Hills. We look forward to continuing that tradition with the help of our community in honoring our alumni”
Nominations are due December 15.
