GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- The Ottawa Hills Bengals are proud to announce their winter 2025-26 All-Conference selections. Competing in the OK White Division in all winter sports except swimming, which is in the OK Rainbow East Division, the Bengals made strong impressions throughout the season in basketball, bowling, wrestling, and boys’ swim and dive.
All-Conference First Team:
- Daniel Gerber (10th grade, Museum) – Boys Bowling
- India Hollis (12th grade, UPREP) – Girls Basketball
- Ewan Jacques (10th grade, GR Montessori) – Boys Swim & Dive
- Wyatt Jacques (11th grade, GR Montessori) – Boys Swim & Dive
- Nicholas Ladomato-Fisher (12th grade, UPREP) – Wrestling
- Coreyon Malone (12th grade, Ottawa Hills) – Boys Bowling
- Bianca Pharms (11th grade, City) – Girls Bowling
- Jameer Runyon (10th grade, Museum) – Wrestling
- Isaiah Taylor (11th, UPREP) – Boys Basketball
All-Conference Honorable Mention:
- James Coleman (11th, Ottawa Hills) – Boys Bowling
Bowling was a particular highlight for the Bengals this season. Daniel Gerber placed 7th at regionals, earning a spot at the Division 1 state meet and finishing in the top 50 statewide. Coreyon Malone and James Coleman dominated the conference, taking 1st and 2nd place at the OK White Conference Meet. On the girls’ side, Bianca Pharms led her team with a 1st-place finish at the conference meet and narrowly missed qualifying for state with an 8th-place regional finish.
In swimming, brothers Ewan and Wyatt Jacques both qualified for the Division 2 State Finals in individual and team events. Ewan earned 13th in the 50 freestyle and 14th in the 100 freestyle, while Wyatt placed 22nd in the 200 freestyle. The Bengals’ 200 freestyle relay team finished 19th, and the 400 freestyle relay team finished 20th at state.
Wrestling also featured standout performances. Nicholas Ladomato-Fisher and Jameer Runyon were both crowned conference champions in their respective weight classes at the OK White Conference Tournament. Ladomato-Fisher also finished 2nd in districts, becoming the first Ottawa Hills wrestler to qualify for regionals in multiple years.
