GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – The GRPS community came together this month to honor the latest class of inductees into the Ottawa Hills High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
A total of 19 individuals and one team were enshrined during the ceremony at halftime of an Ottawa Hills boys basketball game. The ceremony was preceded by a meet and greet where inductees, family, and friends gathered to celebrate the achievement.
“Ottawa Hills alumni, welcome home,” Principal Dr. Timothy Mabin told those in attendance. “Inductees, we're proud of you. Our community is proud of you.”
“I want to congratulate each of our athletes for this well-deserved honor,” Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby said. “Your dedication and hard work have made the Ottawa Hills family incredibly proud. Enjoy this moment as you have earned it.”
