The Ottawa Hills Track and Field Team competed at Regionals on Friday 5/17 at Portage Central. Eight athletes punched their ticket to the State Finals on June 1. 

Selma Anderson earned a Regional Championship in the 1600m running a season's best 4:56. She also qualified in the 3200m placing second in 11:10. 

Liam Walters qualified in the 800m by dipping under the qualifying standard by .31 seconds running a season's best 1:57.49. 

The 4 x 100m relay team of Myla Varnado, D'lilah Davis-Civil, Vivienne Alfonso and Semaj Robertson ran a seasons best 49.54 placing second. 

The final qualifier was in the boys discus as Rashawn Rogers threw a season's best 160'0" (15 feet farther than the qualifying standard) to place third.  The girls team placed 6th out of 15 teams scoring 46 points, while the boys were 14th with 12 points.
