The Board of Education has sole authority to make decisions regarding the prohibited subjects identified in Section 15 of the Public Employment Relations Act (PERA), as amended, MCL 423.215. Consistent with Board Policies 2100 and 6150, the Board delegates to the Superintendent the authority to implement the statutory decisionmaking responsibility as contained in the 2011 Public Act 103 amendment to Section 15: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of PERA, MCL 423.215.
