Federally funded programs are a vital and necessary adjunct to the educational program of the District's schools.
Title I Programs
The Board will ensure that the District's Title I programs operate in accordance with federal laws and conditions. The Superintendent is responsible for administering the District's Title I programs: assessing the educational needs of all scholars. particularly the needs of educationally deprived children. developing appropriate communication channels between all parties, developing in-service training for parent(s)/guardian(s) and staff, and developing appropriate evaluation procedures. The requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act will be followed, and rules and regulations promulgated to ensure that the District is in compliance. Notice of professional qualifications will be provided to parent(s)/guardian(s) of scholars in Title I schools and staffing pattern reviews as required by law will be conducted annually.
