The use and/or the possession by any student, regardless of age, of any tobacco product is prohibited in any school building, at school-sponsored events, regardless of location, or on any school property at any time.
A tobacco product is defined as a product that contains tobacco, nicotine, or chemical substitutes and is intended for human consumption, including, but not limited to, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, non-cigarette smoking tobacco, or smokeless tobacco. Possession of tobacco products by any student under the age of 18 years will result in discipline in accordance with the District’s “Student Code of Conduct,” and may be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
