The Board will cooperate whenever possible with all responsible news media representatives so the public may be more fully informed about the operations of its schools. The Board President is the official spokesperson of the Board.
News Releases
All news releases prepared for public distribution under the auspices of the District by employees or scholars must have the approval of the Superintendent prior to release.
News Conferences and Interviews
All news conferences and interviews on behalf of the District must be approved by the Superintendent and will be scheduled in such a manner that they do not disrupt the operation of the schools or other District operations. This policy applies to in person, telephone, or written interviews.
