GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- At Ottawa Hills High School, Pearl Robinson plays a vital role in supporting both staff and scholars. As Head Secretary, Robinson brings a unique passion and commitment to her work, drawing from her own experiences as a former GRPS scholar.
“The best part of my job is being able to partner with our staff to pour into the lives and passions of our scholars,” she shares. Robinson values the opportunity to walk alongside scholars, not just academically, but also in helping them shape their futures as influential members of society.
Robinson’s decision to work at GRPS was fueled by her personal connection to the district.
“I chose to work for GRPS because I come from GRPS,” she says proudly. Her dedication to the community she grew up in is evident in her daily work. She sees it as essential that scholars have community members who genuinely care for their well-being and success.
