GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – Meet Jana Kalumbula, a senior at City High Middle School. She has attended GRPS since preschool.
“I really wanted a place that was academically rigorous while also having values I aligned with, like diversity, equity, inclusion,” she explained. “I really love it here.”
As she looks to her future, she is especially interested in filmmaking.
“Film is a great way to get people exposed to different cultures,” she said. “I think is really powerful.”
