GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- The GRPS Office of the Ombuds is launching a new podcast designed to spark meaningful dialogue and build stronger relationships across the school community.
Episode one of The Ombuds Outlook: Perspectives in Practice is now streaming on podcast platforms. Hosted by GRPS Ombudsperson Maleika Joubert Brown, the podcast explores real patterns and shared experiences to strengthen communication, build trust, and foster connection.
“Our goal is to create space for honest, reflective conversations that lead to positive change,” Brown said. “When we listen with intention and speak with clarity, we strengthen our community.”
The first episode focuses on how effective communication builds trust and connection, moving beyond transactional exchanges to transformational dialogue. The podcast complements the Ombuds Outlook blog, which can be found on the GRPS website.
