GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) - The Union High School football team was represented in the OK Green Division’s All-Conference selections this season, with two Redhawk players earning recognition for their outstanding play in one of West Michigan’s most competitive football divisions.
Joshua Garcia Guzman, a 12th-grade standout, was named First Team All-Conference for his dominant performance on the offensive and defensive lines. Garcia Guzman’s strength, consistency, and leadership on both sides of the ball helped keep Union competitive throughout the season.
Joining him on the honors list is Christopher “Crash” Rogers, also a senior, who earned Honorable Mention All-Conference as a running back and defensive lineman. Rogers, who is known for his versatility and hard-nosed style of play, was a valuable two-way contributor throughout the season.
The OK Green Division once again proved its strength, with half of the league’s teams advancing to the postseason. For Union, having two players recognized among such elite competition highlights the continued growth and determination of the program. Congratulations, Josh and Chris!
