GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- Scholars are back in class for the start of the 2024-25 school year!
The first day of school was a chance for scholars to reconnect with classmates and staff following the summer break. It was also an opportunity for scholars to experience some of the work underway to Reimagine GRPS.
Scholars at Coit Creative Arts Academy were able to try out their new playground for the first time. The space is fully accessible and includes a soccer field along with multiple play areas.
GRPS also hosted a ribbon cutting for the $40 million multi-year renovation at Innovation Central High School.
