GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- Christine Black brings years of dedication to her kindergarten classroom at Kent Hills Elementary School, where she supports young learners during some of the most important moments of their educational journey.
As a kindergarten teacher working in a special education setting, she is committed to helping each scholar grow.
“I enjoy seeing my students gain confidence and their excitement when they discover they can read,” she said. “I also enjoy all the smiles and hugs from students past and present.”
These moments reinforce the lasting impact she has on her scholars’ lives.
Her journey with GRPS began with a clear purpose.
“I chose GRPS so I could teach in a self-contained special ed classroom,” she explained. “I stayed in GRPS because I fell in love with the families, staff and community.”
