GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) - Chloe Davis arrives at Grand Rapids University Preparatory Academy (UPREP) each day with one purpose: helping scholars prepare for their future.
“I love helping scholars see how their classroom experiences connect to their future goals,” she said. “I chose GRPS and more specifically Grand Rapids University Preparatory Academy because it aligns with my personal mission to help support scholars discover their passion and work towards the pathway of their choosing.”
As the school’s Learning Experience Coordinator, Davis develops meaningful partnerships with community organizations to enrich learning.
“Being able to build relationships with scholars and community partners to make experiences happen for scholars is so rewarding,” she explained. “I enjoy how each day brings different opportunities to develop programs that work for scholars and collaborate with staff to build a positive school community.”
These partnerships also allow her to innovate and create new opportunities.
“It has provided me with an opportunity to connect with community partners and staff to push my thinking and develop new programs and opportunities for scholars,” she said.
Davis strives to be a supportive presence for scholars - both academically and personally.
“It's rewarding to be able to see students who have graduated and hear about how the work we do every day continues to impact them,” she said. “I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with a phenomenal staff and leadership team that supports my growth.”
