GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (GRPS) -- We are excited to share our June F.A.C.E. to FACE Newsletter with you! This month’s edition is full of helpful resources, summer opportunities, and ways to stay connected with our school community.
Inside the newsletter, you’ll find:
- Parent University resources to support parenting, social-emotional learning, and staying connected to school.
- A summer camp guide and tips to prevent the “summer slide” to keep learning strong all summer long.
- Information about community programs, including the Refugee Education Center’s Teen Connect program.
- Fun local events and activities, such as Storytime in the Park and summer camps.
- Details about the GRPL & KDL Summer Reading Challenge.
- A quick transportation survey to support safer walking, biking, and traffic improvements around schools.
We also encourage all families to begin thinking about the 2026–2027 school year enrollment, as registration is now open and support is available if needed.
We hope you take a few minutes to explore the newsletter and take advantage of these great summer opportunities. Please reach out if you have any questions or need support getting connected.
Wishing you a safe, fun, and relaxing summer!
