GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) — Grand Rapids Public Schools invites scholars, staff, and their families to join in on Family Appreciation Nights.

GRPS is hosting two events — one on Wednesday, November 1 at City High Middle School and another on Thursday, November 2 at Gerald R. Ford Academic Center. Both will be from 5-7 p.m. Each event will include a free meal, music, and raffle.

There will also be a chance to interact with district leaders involved with the Reimagine GRPS with Us! plan. Dean Transportation will be on-hand to talk with families and Nutrition Services will be hosting taste testing for potential new school lunch menu items.

“This is an exciting opportunity for us to thank our families for being the best part of GRPS and another chance to show them how we’re working to serve them even better in the future,” GRPS Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby said. “We are doing everything we can to be the best for our scholars and we’re excited that the community is joining us in this work.”

The events are open to anyone in the GRPS family.
