Greetings GRPS Staff,

The Professional Learning Department is excited to share an upcoming professional learning opportunity that explores how appropriate academic rigor and scholar engagement can drive stronger attendance and learning outcomes. While this session is especially relevant for teachers, staff in other roles are encouraged to attend to build shared context around engagement and instructional impact.

Participants will:

  • Examine the connection between academic engagement and attendance
  • Add teaching and engagement strategies to their instructional toolbox
  • Increase rigor, relevance, and scholar agency in the classroom
