Dear Harrison Park Families:
As we round out a successful school year, we are already looking to what's ahead for the next. We are excited to share some changes to our leadership team aimed at inspiring and uplifting the achievement of our scholars across the district.
These changes are part of a larger shift in leadership throughout GRPS and we’re excited to see the new heights we can achieve.
We are excited to share that Erica Dams will join Westwood Middle School as an Assistant Principal. Mrs. Dams has served with distinction at Harrison Park. She is known for going the extra mile on behalf of our scholars and for being a servant leader. We know she will continue to put her heart into leading our educators and scholars in her new role at the middle school level. The search for a new assistant principal is underway.
These transitions go into effect next school year and are aimed at making us stronger and preparing our team to take Grand Rapids Public Schools to the next level — for our scholars, for our community, and for our future.
