GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) — The Grand Rapids Public Schools launched a new dashboard to help the community visualize the progress of the “Reimagine GRPS with Us!” plan.
The dashboard highlights progress in key areas of desired improvement including culture, academics, safety and security, air quality, and arts programming. It is a direct response to calls for increased transparency from the district as a whole.
“Our community members have made it clear that they want to know more about what’s happening ‘behind the scenes’ when it comes to educating our children,” GRPS Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby said. “This is just one of the ways we are pulling back the curtain and holding ourselves accountable to the commitments we are making to our families.”
The dashboard will evolve as the priorities shift with the needs of GRPS scholars.
