We are coming to the end of this construction project.

The new restrooms in the concessions building are complete.

The new sod field has been installed and is now working to get established. We are asking that the community stay off the grass until next spring to allow it to grow.

The new track surface is almost ready. The striping is being completed. It will be open to the community for walking soon.

We're making great progress at Briggs Field this summer, with several exciting upgrades nearing completion!

Concessions Building Enhancements

The addition of new toilet rooms at the Concessions Building is nearly complete. These much-needed facilities will enhance the overall experience for visitors and provide added convenience during events.

New Track Surface

A brand-new track surface has been installed and looks fantastic! Next up: lane striping will begin shortly, bringing us one step closer to a fully refreshed running surface for our athletes and community.

Here’s an update on where construction stands on Briggs Field:

• New toilet rooms are being roughed in at the concessions building.
• The field is prepped and ready for sod, with irrigation systems now installed.
• Materials for the new track surface have arrived on site.
• New goal posts are up and ready for action!

Demolition and replacement of west retaining wall has been completed.

Old track surface has been removed, and existing asphalt base is being prepped for surfacing installation.

Old field turf has been removed, and topsoil is being screened for reuse.
