GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- The Grand Rapids Board of Education regular board meeting on Monday, December 9, will be in the Ottawa Hills High School Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Ottawa Hills High School is located at 2055 Rosewood Ave SE. Parking will be available in the northeast lot.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Board of Education requests that community members who attend the meeting bring non-perishable food donations for the Ottawa Hills High School food pantry. All donations will go to GRPS families in need.
This is the second straight board meeting happening “on the road.” The November Board of Education meeting has held at Union High School.
"Hosting our board meetings in the community allows us to connect more directly with the neighborhoods we serve," said Board of Education President Kimberley Williams. "We’re creating an accessible and inclusive environment where scholars, families, educators, and community members can engage in the process and share their voices."
