What is so important about Count Day?
A percentage of the state funding for our public schools is based on total scholar attendance on Wednesday, February 8.
How can you help?
- Make sure your children are in school on Wednesday, February 8.
- Spread the Word: E-mail, Facebook, Twitter, blog, and talk to all your family, friends, and neighbors encouraging 100% attendance every day — but particularly on Count Day.
- If your child is sick or unable to attend, please be sure to call the main office at your school to report an excused absence.
