GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – The Grand Rapids Public Schools Fine Arts Department proudly unveiled the district’s 2024 holiday card during Monday’s Board of Education meeting, celebrating the creativity and talent of its scholars.
This year’s holiday card features artwork from 54 students. The art was selected from more than 80 entries created by scholars from 23 GRPS schools. Each piece reflects the scholars' unique interpretations of the holiday season, showcasing their artistic skills and diverse perspectives.
Adding the musical touch, the Coit Creative Arts Academy’s Honors Choir performed and produced the song All Around the World, directed by Music Teacher Debra Perry. Their performance accompanies the card’s artwork.
The video ends with a Happy Holidays message from Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby and Board of Education members.
