Here is helpful information for families who are utilizing Dean Transportation bus services for the 2024-25 school year.
BUS INFORMATION
Dean Transportation mailed information on August 12 to families receiving busing this year. This letter includes pick-up and drop-off times and locations. Please make sure to check your mail this week.
TRANSPORTATION QUESTIONS
If you have an urgent transportation question, you can contact Dean Transportation's dispatch center by calling 616-819-3000. Dean has additional staff ready to help answer your phone calls.
GRPS will also staff a hotline number during the first week of school to help answer general transportation questions. You can call 616-819-6100 from 7am-6:30pm during the week of August 19 for assistance.
You can also visit the GRPS Transportation page to submit a question or concern. Dean Transportation and GRPS monitor this form daily and respond promptly.
HELPFUL APPS
Here Comes the Bus: An easy-to-use website and mobile device app that enables parents and caregivers to view the real-time location of their child’s school bus on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Zonar MyView (Formerly ZPass): ZPass has a new name and simplified design! Know instantly where and when your child entered and exited the school bus with Zonar MyView. This application can be viewed on any smartphone. Scholars receive a Zonar MyView card at school to scan when they enter and exit the bus.

UPDATE CONTACT INFORMATION
Dean Transportation sends out app notifications and robocalls when buses are running more than 10 minutes late. The only way to receive robocalls is by ensuring that your contact information is accurate in ParentVue. Please take a moment to log into your ParentVue account and confirm that your phone number is correct.
NO LONGER NEED BUSING?
If you receive a letter this week with busing information, but do not wish to receive busing, you can opt-out of transportation. Please contact Dean Transportation (616-819-3000) or call your school office.
