GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – GRPS scholars are supporting the Detroit Lions playoff run by participating in a statewide drawing contest during art class.
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced the program this week, asking Michiganders of all ages to submit their best drawing of the Detroit Lions logo.
“The Lions have captured our hearts and made us all hopeful for a Super Bowl this year,” Gov. Whitmer said when announcing the contest. “Join me in rooting them on by submitting your version of the team logo. Let’s show the Lions that we got their backs as they enter the playoffs.”
