GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) – Meet Ja’Koveon Perkins, a senior at Union High School. During his time at Union, Perkins has participated in multiple leadership opportunities including Michigan Youth in Government and Student Council.
“Getting to meet new people from different backgrounds, it gives me a sense of security, knowing that I could go to other people and talk to them and get different insights,” Perkins explained. “I'm planning on going to college to pursue a bachelor's degree in business.”
