I’m beyond excited to introduce myself as the new Program Coordinator for the Office of Opportunity, Engagement, and Innovation. As a lifelong learner, I’m always looking for ways to grow and make a meaningful impact, and I can’t wait to bring that energy into this new role.
I have a background spanning social work, foster care, juvenile justice, higher education and most recently, a K-8 charter school. I’ve had the privilege of working on initiatives that focus on discipline reform, restorative practices, social-emotional behavioral health, and personal and professional development for educators. My mission is to create supportive and inclusive spaces where both students and staff can truly thrive.
I proudly hold a BA and multiple certifications from the University of Michigan. I am currently pursuing my MSW in Welfare of Children and Families.
When I’m not busy at work, you can find me cheering on my boys at their soccer games, helping my teenager with her creative endeavors, outdoors camping and hiking with my family, and of course, rooting for the Wolverines (GO BLUE!).
I’m so excited to be part of this incredible team and can’t wait to connect with all of you as we work together to make a difference! Looking forward to what’s ahead!
