GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) — The spotlight of WOOD TV’s Where You Live program illuminated the partnership GRPS schools have with Kids Hope USA.
Kids Hope volunteers spend time one-on-one with scholars at several GRPS schools in an effort to provide mentorship and build meaningful relationships with children in our community.
“This is a strong community partnership, and everyone benefits from this,” Jennifer Williams, Congress Elementary School principal, told Maranda. “Our scholars learn so much, and our mentors also learn from our future leaders.”
This year the Amway River Bank Run has selected Kids hope as one of its charity partners which will allow participants to support the organization.
