GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (GRPS) -- In this latest ‘Reimagine’ Vlog, Grand Rapids Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Leadriane Roby updates the community on safety and security upgrades and new spaces learning spaces now open.
The GRPS Safety & Security team has more than doubled the number of metal detectors available for use this year at school entrances.
Dr. Roby also highlights the donation of two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) by State Representatives Carol Glanville and Kristian Grant.
We are also celebrating the opening of new learning spaces at Innovation Central High School and a new playground at Coit Creative Arts Academy.
